Miguel

This is another Creative Copy Challenge. Miguel regained consciousness . How long had he been out this time? Trying to move, he realized he was still taped to the folding chair with cheap duct tape, but still taped none the less. He noticed this wasn't the same room he was in prior to blacking out. He wasn't sure if it was day or night. The plywood covering the window made sure of that. Blood stained his shirt. He took as many notes as he could from this new scenario . Dammit. Denise got this for me. He noticed the pain radiating from his left shoulder. It popped when he tried to move it. Time will tell if he'll ever get the range of motion he needs for his occupation. It hurt like hell. Last time he woke up they were back in the room a few minutes later. Miguel looked around and noticed the camera on the wall next to the door. What a horrible place for a camera. The door opened and the same three men from before entered with smiles on their faces like they really enjoyed...

Sticking it to Time Warner.

In an effort to minimize our bills, a little over a month ago we decided to cancel our cable. It's come up about every year, but we never really followed through. Not that I watch a butt load of TV, but I did have some TV shows I felt I could not do without. Specifically LOST. Then to a lesser extent the children's programming for the kids. Well LOST is no longer around so there's nothing I'm totally committed to where I would have anxiety attacks if I missed it. Maybe Breaking Bad, but I'm sure I could catch up somehow. Anyways, when it was proposed to cancel the cable, the kids were upset. Ladybug even started to cry. They weren't going to be able to watch Power Rangers Samurai which is their most favoritest show ever . But I was quick to concede to cancel the cable because Santa brought the kids the Wii for Christmas and it has the ability to stream Netflix. So we dropped the sixty-plus dollar a month in favor for one that costs $8.99. We're not do...

Naming Our Upcoming Baby!!

This past weekend , my wife and I decided on the names for our upcoming baby. Again, we have opted to not find out the gender of kid. KC enjoys this more than I do. She finds a thrill and excitement not knowing the sex of the baby. I on the other hand, would rather know if I would need to buy more baseball equipment (for a boy) or firearms (for the potential girl's boyfriends). Our first two children together, we opted to find out the sex of the baby. Her oldest and our last child, we did not. I always found it off when people would ask… "Do you know what you're having?" "Yes, a girl!" "A girl?!?! Awwwwww !!" I've often wondered if there's ever been a time where the inquisitor was put off by the answer. "Do you know what you're having?" "Yes, a girl!" "A girl? Oh.. Well, good luck with all of that!!" One time I asked someone if I told them it was the opposite gender would they have been excited. They thoug...
