With the numerous activities in Boltonshire, it's a rare event all of us get to gather around the table and have a meal together. Also with the numerous residents in Boltonshire, it's a rare event all of us get to FIT around the table and have a meal together. We used to have the extension on the table, but it just took up too much dang room in the kitchen. Plus it became one of the many horizontal surfaces that collected unopened mail, graded homework and coupon circulars. Dinner time with the Boltons is usually in stages. KC might be taking care of D and I am getting ready for the next stage of the evening, bath time. MaddSkillz would get home after this usually and eat his share. KC will probably eat after the babies are down and I eat after I log in to work at night. This is pretty much everyday. We actually all squeezed down for...

62 Places Where #KidsEatFree

Just like companies have major promotions were they give out free products just for showing up ( Chic Fil A and 7 Eleven ), a lot of restaurants have weekly offers where kids can eat free (or almost free in some cases). Some Examples Include: Cici's Pizza : Kids under 3 eat free every day. Culver's : Kids 12 and under get a free frozen custard with the purchase of a meal (valid daily). Denny's : Kids eat free at Denny's on Tuesdays from 4-10 p.m. (at some locations, Saturdays, too). Up to two kids get a free meal for every paying adult. Pizza Hut : Kids eat free all day on Tuesdays. TGIFriday's : Kids eat free on Mondays and Tuesdays. Sean Graw over at BradsDeals.com provided a list of 62 Places Where Kids Eat Free (Or Almost Free) . Be sure to che...

Even when my oldest son (currently 22) was in school, we continued with the same type of communication. It wasn’t until he was in high school where we had the updated option to email his teachers directly. Now I have five children in school and just making time to look in their daily folders is a chore. While hard copies of memo’s and reports are still fine and much needed reminders, their school uses a great mobile app to help keep us up to date on their status and their behavior. The app is called ClassDojo . ClassDojo [ Website | Twitter | Facebook ] is a classroom communication platform for teachers, parents and students. Primarily it is used to track behavior in the classroom and communicate the results to parents. Launched in August 2011, ClassDojo is used in 90 percent of K-8...
